Abstract

Star hotel and other accommodation occupancy rates (TPK) in Kalimantan Utara Province in June 2019 amounted to 28.07 percent or increased by 3.65 points compared to TPK in May 2019 which was recorded at 24.41 percent.

The Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Tarakan Municipality in June 2019 amounted to 44.78 percent, an increase of 13.33 points compared to the May 2019 TPK which was 31.45 percent.
The Occupancy Rate of other accommodation hotels (TPK) in Kalimantan Utara Province in June 2019 were 23.97 percent, an increase of 1.33 points compared to the May 2019 TPK which was 22.64 percent.
The average length of foreign and domestic guests stays at star hotels and other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in June 2019 for 1.43 days. The average length of stay of foreign guests is 1.73 days and the average length of time a domestic guest stays is 1.43 days.
The number of foreign tourist visits in June 2019 was recorded at 57,702 visits, an increase of 11,663 visits compared to the previous month which reached 46,039 visits.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists visiting Kalimantan Utara in the period January – June 2018 reached 191,639 visits, while during January – June 2019 it reached 296,906 visits.
Sea transport passengers departing in June 2019 were 37,605 people, down 30.82 percent compared to the previous month (May 2019) which recorded 54,356 people. The number of goods loaded in June 2019 increased by 173.17 percent, up from 73,290,878 tons in May 2019 to 200,208,175 tons in June 2019.
The number of aircraft departing from the airport in Kalimantan Utara in June 2019 was recorded as 662 flights, an increase of 0.30 percent compared to the previous month (May 2019) which recorded 660 flights. The number of passengers departing in June was 44,125 people, up by 3.32 percent compared to May 2019 which recorded 42,709 people.

October 2019, TPK For Starred Hotels In Kalimantan Utara Was 48.13% And The Number Of International Tourist Visits Was 50,723 Visits. The Number Of Planes Departing In October 2019 Was 798 Flights.
