Abstract

Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of five-star hotels and other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in March 2020 was 20.51 percent or decreased by 5.88 points compared to the ROR in February 2020 which was recorded at 26.39 percent.

The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of starred hotels in Tarakan Municipality in March 2020 was 27.67 percent, a decrease of 13.28 points compared to the February 2020 ROR of 40.95 percent.
Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of other accommodation hotels in Kalimantan Utara Province in March 2020 was 17.58 percent, a decrease of 3.27 points compared to the February 2020 ROR of 20.85 percent.
The number of foreign tourist arrivals in March 2020 was 31,411 visits or decreased by 7,936 visits compared to the previous month which reached 39,347 visits.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Kalimantan Utara in the January – March 2020 period reached 113,965 visits, while during January – March 2019 it reached 137,633 visits.
Sea transport passengers departing in March 2020 were 13,931 people, down 14.62 percent compared to the previous month (February 2020), which were recorded at 16,317 people. The number of goods loaded in March 2020 increased by 71.89 percent, up from 618,416 tons in February 2020 to 1,063,025 tons in March 2020.
The number of aircraft departing from the Airport in Kalimantan Utara Province in March 2020 recorded 574 flights, a decrease of 3.37 percent compared to the previous month (February 2020) which recorded as many as 594 flights. The number of passengers departing in March was 32,258 people or decreased by 17.37 percent compared to February 2020 which was recorded at 39,038 people.

June 2020, TPK For Starred Hotels 20.96% And The Number Of Foreign Tourist Visits At 32,656 Visits, The Number Of Planes Departing In June 2020 Was 235 Flights In Kalimantan Utara Province.

September 2019, The Room Occupancy Rate Of Starred Hotels 37.54% And The Number Of Foreign Tourist Visits Of 50,110 Visits, The Number Of Planes Departing September 2019 Were 652 Flights.
