Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate of five-star hotels and other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in August 2019 was 28.05 percent or an increase of 0.83 points compared to the Room Occupancy Rate in July 2019 which was recorded at 27.22 percent.

The Room Occupancy Rate of star hotels in Tarakan Municipality in August 2019 was 40.08 percent, a decrease of 0.10 points compared to the Room Occupancy Rate in July 2019 which was 40.18 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate of other accommodation hotels in Kalimantan Utara Province in August 2019 was 25.09 percent, an increase of 1.55 points compared to the Room Occupancy Rate in July 2019 which was 23.54 percent.
The average length of foreign and domestic guests staying at star hotels and other accommodation in Kalimantan Utara Province in August 2019 for 1.24 days. The average length of stay of foreign guests was 1.21 days and the average length of stay of domestic guests was 1.24 days.
The number of foreign tourist arrivals in August 2019 was recorded at 51,366 visits or an increase of 5,053 visits compared to the previous month which reached 46,313 visits.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Kalimantan Utara Province in the period January – August 2018 reached 253,753 visits, while during January – August 2019 reached 392,779 visits.
Sea transport passengers departing in August 2019 were 24,468 people, up 43.38 percent compared to the previous month (July 2019), which were recorded as 17,065 people. The number of goods loaded in August 2019 increased by 164.17 percent, up from 461,341 tons in July 2019 to 1,218,707 tons in August 2019.
The number of aircraft departing from the Airport in Kalimantan Utara Province in August 2019 recorded 791 flights, a decrease of 1.98 percent compared with the previous month (July 2019) which recorded 807 flights. The number of passengers departing in August was 48,995 people, an increase of 15.91 percent compared to July 2019 with 42,269 people.

June 2020, TPK For Starred Hotels 20.96% And The Number Of Foreign Tourist Visits At 32,656 Visits, The Number Of Planes Departing In June 2020 Was 235 Flights In Kalimantan Utara Province.
