Abstract

Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of five-star hotels and other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in April 2020 was 5.50 percent or decreased by 15.01 points compared to the ROR in March 2020 which was recorded at 20.51 percent.

Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of starred hotels in Tarakan Municipality in April 2020 was 12.18 percent, a decrease of 15.49 points compared to the ROR in March 2020 of 27.67 percent.
Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of other accommodation hotels in Kalimantan Utara Province in April 2020 was 3.77 percent, a decrease of 13.81 points compared to the ROR in March 2020 of 17.58 percent.
The number of foreign tourist arrivals in April 2020 was 26,702 visits or decreased by 4,709 visits compared to the previous month which reached 31,411 visits.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Kalimantan Utara Province in the period January - April 2020 reached 140,667 visits, while during January - April 2019 reached 181,642 visits.
Sea transport passengers departing in April 2020 were 1,842 people or dropped by 86.78 percent compared to the previous month (March 2020) which recorded 13,931 people. The number of goods loaded in April 2020 decreased by 39.06 percent or decreased from 1,063,025 tons to 647,795 tons in April 2020.
The number of aircraft departing from the Airport in Kalimantan Utara Province in April 2020 recorded 203 flights, a decrease of 64.63 percent compared to March 2020 which recorded as many as 574 flights. The number of passengers departing in April was 7,375 people or decreased by 77.14 percent compared to March 2020 which was recorded at 32,258 people.

April 2021, ROR For Star Hotels 40.64% And Number Of Foreign Tourist Visits Of 24,213 Visits, Number Of Airplanes Departing April 2021 As Many As 359 Flights In Kalimantan Utara Province.
