Abstract

Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of star hotels and other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in May 2020 was 12.47 percent or an increase of 6.98 points compared to the ROR in April 2020 which was recorded at 5.50 percent.

Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of starred hotels in Tarakan Municipality in May 2020 was 27.02 percent, an increase of 14.84 points compared to the ROR on April 2020 of 12.18 percent.
Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of other accommodation hotels in Kalimantan Utara Province in May 2020 was 6.38 percent, an increase of 2.61 points compared to the ROR on April 2020 of 3.77 percent.
The number of foreign tourist arrivals in May 2020 was 28,846 visits or an increase of 2,144 visits compared to the previous month which reached 26,702 visits.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Kalimantan Utara Province in the January – May 2020 period reached 169,513 visits, while during January – May 2019 it reached 227,001 visits.
Passenger sea transportation departing in May 2020 decreased by 100.00 percent or decreased from 1,842 to 0 people. The number of goods loaded in May 2020 decreased by 15.16 percent or decreased from 549,615 to 647,795 tons in May 2020.
The number of aircraft departing from the Airport in Kalimantan Utara Province in May 2020 was recorded at 81 flights, a decrease of 60.10 percent compared to April 2020 which recorded 203 flights. The number of passengers departing in May was 903 people or decreased by 87.76 percent compared to April 2020 which was recorded at 7,375 people.

September 2019, The Room Occupancy Rate Of Starred Hotels 37.54% And The Number Of Foreign Tourist Visits Of 50,110 Visits, The Number Of Planes Departing September 2019 Were 652 Flights.
