Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of star hotels and other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in December 2020 was 26.68 percent or decreased by 2.48 points compared to the ROR in November 2020 which was recorded at 29.16 percent.

The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of star hotels in Tarakan Municipality in December 2020 was 39.34 percent, a decrease of 5.79 points compared to the ROR for November 2020 which was 45.13 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of other accommodation hotels in Kalimantan Utara Province in December 2020 was 22.72 percent, a decrease of 1.64 points compared to the ROR for November 2020 which was 24.36 percent.
The number of foreign tourist visits in December 2020 was recorded at 31,305 visits, an increase of 3,224 visits compared to the previous month which reached 28,081 visits.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Kalimantan Utara Province in the January - December 2020 period reached 397,675 visits, while during January - December 2019 it reached 584,453 visits.
Sea transportation passengers departing increased from 9,226 to 13,058 people in December 2020. The number of goods loaded increased from 922,111 tons to 910,275 tons in December 2020.
The number of aircraft departing from airports in Kalimantan Utara Province was recorded to have increased from 423 to 483 flights in December 2020. The number of departing passengers increased from 19,395 to 23,489 people in December.

In March 2020, The ROR Of Starred Hotels Was 27.67% And The Number Of International Tourist Visits Was 31,411 Visits. The Number Of Aircraft Departing In March 2020 Was 574 Flights In Kalimantan Utara Province.
