Human Development Index of Kalimantan Utara Province 2021

The Human Development Index (HDI) is one of the important indicators to measure success in efforts to develop the quality of human life which is formed from three basic dimensions, namely a long and healthy life, knowledge, and a decent standard of living. After experiencing a decline in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, HDI of Kalimantan Utara Province in 2021 has increased again. This increase indicates that the opportunity for residents of Kalimantan Utara Province to be able to access development results in obtaining income, health, education, and so on is getting better. The publication of Human Development Index of Kalimantan Utara Province 2021 presents an overview and development of HDI in Kalimantan Utara Province which is accompanied by a brief analysis. This publication also contains HDI figures at the Regency/Municipality level.
