The government's high commitment in building democracy and Indonesian politics must be supported by empirical data that can be used as the basis for policy making and formulating specific and accurate strategies. Even today, IDI is one of the indicators in the 2015-2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). There are four aspects that affect democracy, namely the executive, judiciary, legislative, and the wider community. Therefore, the high and low IDI value of a region is the responsibility of all parties.
