The government's high commitment to building democracy and Indonesian politics must be supported by empirical data that can be used as a basis for policy making and formulation of specific and accurate strategies. Even now, the IDI is one of the indicators in the 2015-2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). There are four aspects that influence democracy, namely the executive, judicial, legislative, and the wider community. Therefore, the high or low value of IDI in an area is the responsibility of all parties.
