Abstract

  • The economy of Kalimantan Utara in Quarter III-2018 measured based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached Rp 21.65 trillion and GDP at the constant price of 2010 reached Rp 14.34 trillion.
  • The economy of Kalimantan Utara in Quarter III-2018 grew by 4.63 percent compared to the same quarter of the previous year (Quarter III-2017) (y-on-y). In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Electricity and Gas Procurement Business Field with a growth of 9.87 percent. While in terms of expenditure, the component of Foreign Exports grew the highest by 14.83 percent.
  • When compared to the previous quarter, the economic performance of Kalimantan Utara in quarter III-2018 grew by 1.79 percent (q-to-q). The highest growth according to the q-to-q business field was achieved by the Construction Business Field which grew by 9.74 percent. In terms of expenditure, the component that contributed to the economic growth of Kalimantan Utara was a component of the Inter-Regional Export Net of 1.73 percent.
  • Cumulatively, the economic growth of Kalimantan Utara until Quarter III-2018 compared to the same period in 2017 grew by 5.01 percent (c-to-c).
