Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels and other accommodation in Kalimantan Utara Province in December 2023 was 41.85 percent or decreased by 0.64 points compared to the TPK in November 2023 which was recorded at 42.48 percent.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Kalimantan Utara Province in December 2023 was 59.27 percent, a decrease of 1.63 points compared to the TPK for November 2023 which was 60.90 percent.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of non-star hotels/other accommodation in Kalimantan Utara Province in December 2023 was 36.23 percent, a decrease of 0.55 points compared to the TPK for November 2023 which was 36.78 percent.
  • The number of foreign tourist visits in December 2023 was recorded at 2,004 visits or an increase of 651 visits compared to the previous month which reached 1,353 visits.
  • Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Kalimantan Utara in the January-December 2023 period reached 21,052 visits.
