Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels and other accommodation in North Kalimantan Province in August 2024 was 42.99 percent or an increase of 2.63 points compared to the TPK in July 2024 which was recorded at 40.36 percent.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in North Kalimantan Province in August 2024 was 54.77 percent, a decrease of 1.48 points compared to the TPK in July 2024 which was 56.25 percent.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of non-star hotels/other accommodation in North Kalimantan Province in August 2024 was 27.77 percent, experiencing a decrease of 8.93 points compared to the TPK in July 2024 which was 36.70 percent.
  • The number of foreign tourist visits in August 2024 was recorded at 1,114 visits or a decrease of 34 visits compared to the previous month which reached 1,148 visits.
  • Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting North Kalimantan in the 2024 period reached 10,155 visits.
