Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels and other accommodations in North Kalimantan Province in July 2023 was 38.58 percent or a decrease of 1.30 points compared to the TPK in June 2023 which was recorded at 39.88 percent.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in North Kalimantan Province in July 2023 was 50.49 percent, a decrease of 4.67 points compared to the TPK in June 2023 which was 55.16 percent.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of non-star hotels/other accommodations in North Kalimantan Province in July 2023 was 34.86 percent, a decrease of 0.22 points compared to the TPK in June 2023 which was 35.09 percent.
  • The number of foreign tourist visits in July 2023 was recorded at 1,668 visits or a decrease of 231 visits compared to the previous month which reached 1,899 visits.
  • Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists visiting North Kalimantan in the January-July 2023 period reached 12,895 visits.
  • Departing sea transport passengers decreased from 33,765 people to 23,036 people in July 2023. The amount of goods loaded increased from 1,139,738 tons to 1,705,567 tons in July 2023.
  • The number of airplanes departing from airports in North Kalimantan was recorded to have increased from 544 to 598 flights in July 2023. The number of departing passengers decreased from 30,225 to 30,118 in July 2023.
