Abstract

In November 2020, total commodity exports through the port in Kalimantan Utara Province reached US $ 78.53 million, an increase of 14.99 percent compared to the conditions in October 2020 which reached US $ 68.30 million. The export value for the January-November 2020 period reached US $ 857.03 million or decreased by 9.8 percent compared to January-November in 2019.

The increase in exports in November 2020 compared to October 2020 was caused by an increase in the value of the export value of the non-oil and gas goods group in the mining sector by 22.06 percent.
The import value of Kalimantan Utara Province in November 2020 reached US $ 16.49 million or an increase compared to imports in October 2020. When compared to the January-November 2019 period, the import value of Kalimantan Utara Province for the January-November 2020 period increased by 28.17 percent.
The import value of Kalimantan Utara Province in November 2020 was dominated by non-oil and gas goods, mainly industrial products.
The trade balance of Kalimantan Utara Province in November 2020 was a surplus of US $ 62.05 million, a decrease of 4.53 percent when compared to the trade balance in October 2020 which was a surplus of US $ 64.99 million.
