Abstract

    The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of star hotels and other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in November 2020 was 29.16 percent or an increase of 0.84 points compared to the ROR in October 2020 which was recorded at 28.32 percent.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of star hotels in Tarakan Municipality in November 2020 was 45.13 percent, a decrease of 0.38 points compared to the ROR for October 2020 which was 45.51 percent.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of other accommodation hotels in Kalimantan Utara Province in November 2020 was 24.36 percent, an increase of 0.50 points compared to the ROR for October 2020 which was 23.86 percent.
  • The number of foreign tourist visits in November 2020 was recorded at 28,556 visits, an increase of 634 visits compared to the previous month which reached 27,922 visits.
  • Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Kalimantan Utara in the January - November 2020 period reached 366,845 visits, while during January - November 2019 it reached 527,210 visits.
  • Sea transportation passengers departing increased from 4,699 to 9,226 people in November 2020. The number of goods loaded increased from 885,676 tons to 922,111 tons in November 2020.
  • The number of aircraft departing from airports in Kalimantan Utara Province was recorded to have increased from 418 to 423 flights in November 2020. The number of departing passengers increased from 16,339 to 19,395 in November.
