Abstract

    Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of star hotels and other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in June 2020 was 14.78 percent or an increase of 2.30 points compared to the ROR in May 2020 which was recorded at 12.47 percent.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of starred hotels in Tarakan Municipality in June 2020 was 20.96 percent, a decrease of 6.06 points compared to the ROR in May 2020 of 27.02 percent.
  • Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of other accommodation hotels in Kalimantan Utara Province in June 2020 was 11.96 percent, an increase of 5.58 points compared to the ROR in May 2020 of 6.38 percent.
  • The number of foreign tourist arrivals in June 2020 was recorded at 32,656 visits or an increase of 3,810 visits compared to the previous month which reached 28,846 visits.
  • Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Kalimantan Utara Province in the period January – June 2020 reached 202.169 visits, while during January – June 2019 reached 282,746 visits.
  • Sea transport passengers departing in June 2020 have increased or increased from 0 to 1,465 people. The number of goods loaded in June 2020 decreased by 34.24 percent or decreased from 549,615 to 361,430 tons in June 2020.
  • The number of aircraft departing from the Airport in Kalimantan Utara Province in June 2020 recorded 235 flights, an increase of 190.12 percent compared to May 2020 which recorded as many as 81 flights. The number of passengers departing in June was 6,326 people, an increase of 600.55 percent compared to May 2020 which was recorded at 903 people.
