Abstract

Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of star hotels and other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in October 2019 was 30.60 percent or an increase of 2.34 points compared to the ROR in September 2019 which was recorded at 28.25 percent.

The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of starred hotels in Tarakan Municipality in October 2019 was 48.13 percent, an increase of 10.59 points compared to the September 2019 ROR of 37.54 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of other accommodation hotels in Kalimantan Utara Province in October 2019 was 26.25 percent, an increase of 0.37 points compared to the September 2019 TPK of 25.88 percent.
The average length of foreign and domestic guests staying at star hotels and other accommodation in Kalimantan Utara Province in October 2019 for 1.26 days. The average length of stay of foreign guests is 1.01 days and the average length of stay of domestic guests is 1.26 days.
The number of foreign tourist arrivals in October 2019 was recorded at 50,723 visits, an increase of 613 visits compared to the previous month which reached 50,110 visits.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Kalimantan Utara in the January-October 2018 period reached 308,364 visits, while during January-October 2019 it reached 496,127 visits.
Sea transport passengers departing in October 2019 were 20,065 people, an increase of 71.01 percent compared to the previous month (September 2019) which was 11,733 people. The number of goods loaded in October 2019 decreased by 15.96 percent or decreased from 1,091,317 tons in September 2019 to 917,125 tons in October 2019.
The number of aircraft departing from the Airport in Kalimantan Utara in October 2019 recorded 798 flights, an increase of 22.36 percent compared with the previous month (September 2019) which recorded 652 flights. The number of passengers departing in October was 43,497 people, an increase of 9.54 percent compared to September 2019 with 39,708 people.

In March 2020, The ROR Of Starred Hotels Was 27.67% And The Number Of International Tourist Visits Was 31,411 Visits. The Number Of Aircraft Departing In March 2020 Was 574 Flights In Kalimantan Utara Province.
