Abstract

    The Room Occupancy Rate of five-star hotels and other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in September 2019 was 28.25 percent or an increase of 0.20 points compared to the ROR in August 2019 which was recorded at 28.05 percent.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of starred hotels in Tarakan Municipality in September 2019 was 37.54 percent, a decrease of 2.54 points compared to the August 2014 ROR of 40.08 percent.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of other accommodation hotels in Kalimantan Utara Province in September 2019 was 25.88 percent, an increase of 0.79 points compared to the August 2014 ROR of 25.09 percent.
  • The average length of foreign and domestic guests staying at star hotels and other accommodation in Kalimantan Utara Province in September 2019 for 1.24 days. The average length of stay of foreign guests is 1.32 days and the average length of stay of domestic guests is 1.24 days.
  • The number of foreign tourist visits in September 2019 was recorded at 50,110 visits or decreased 1,256 visits compared to the previous month which reached 51,366 visits.
  • Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Kalimantan Utara in the January-September 2018 period reached 281,925 visits, while during January-September 2019 it reached 445,404 visits.
  • Sea transportation passengers departing in September 2019 were 11,733 people, down 52.05 percent compared to the previous month (August 2019), which recorded 24,468 people. The number of goods loaded in September 2019 decreased by 10.45 percent or decreased from 1,218,707 tons in August 2019 to 1,091,317 tons in September 2019.
  • The number of airplanes departing from the Airport in Kalimantan Utara in September 2019 recorded 652 flights, a decrease of 17.57 percent compared to the previous month (August 2019) which recorded 791 flights. The number of passengers departing in September was 39,708 people or decreased by 18.95 percent compared to August 2019 with 48,995 people.
