Abstract

    Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels and other accommodation in Kalimantan Utara Province in July 2019 was 27.22 percent or decreased by 0.85 points compared to the ROR in June 2019 which was recorded at 28.07 percent.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in Tarakan Municipality in July 2019 was 40.18 percent, a decrease of 4.60 points compared to the TPK of June 2019 which was 44.78 percent.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of other accommodation hotels in Kalimantan Utara in July 2019 was 23.54 percent, a decrease of 0.43 points compared to the TPK in June 2019 which was 23.97 percent.
  • The average length of time for foreign and domestic guests to stay at star hotels and other accommodation in Kalimantan Utara Province in July 2019 for 1.28 days. The average length of stay of foreign guests was 1.10 days and the average length of stay of domestic guests was 1.28 days.
  • The number of foreign tourists visiting in July 2019 was recorded at 46,313 visits or decreased by 11,389 visits compared to the previous month which reached 57,702 visits.
  • Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Kalimantan Utara in the period January – July 2018 reached 221,719 visits, while during January – July 2019 reached 343,219 visits.
  • Sea transport passengers departing in July 2019 were 17,065 people, down 44.80 percent compared to the previous month (June 2019) which recorded 30,913 people. The number of goods loaded in July 2019 increased by 12.37 percent or increased from 410,562 tons in June 2019 to 461,341 tons in July 2019.
  • The number of aircraft departing from the Airport in Kalimantan Utara in July 2019 was recorded at 807 flights, an increase of 21.90 percent compared to the previous month (June 2019) which recorded 662 flights. The number of passengers departing in July was 42,269 people or decreased by 4.21 percent compared to June 2019 with 44,125 people.
