Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Utara Province in August 2018 in the form of non-oil and gas goods reached US $ 93.91 million or decreased by 14.09 percent compared to exports in July 2018. When compared with August 2017, the export value of Kalimantan Utara Province in August 2018 has increased by 10, 15 percent.
Cumulatively the value of non-oil exports of Kalimantan Utara Province for the period of January - August 2018 reached US $ 740.77 million or increased by 25.18 percent over the same period in 2017. All exports of Kalimantan Utara Province in August 2018 were in the form of non-oil and gas goods.
The import value of Kalimantan Utara Province in August 2018 reached US $ 2.63 million or an increase of 48.44 percent compared to imports in July 2018. When compared with August 2017, the import value of Kalimantan Utara Province in August 2018 decreased by 3.17 percent.
All Kalimantan Utara imports in August 2018 are non-oil and gas commodities.
Cumulatively, the import value of Kalimantan Utara Province from January to August 2018 reached US $ 46.98 million, an increase of 237.34 percent compared to the same period in 2017.
The trade balance of Kalimantan Utara Province in August 2018 was a surplus of US $ 91.29 million, a decrease compared to the surplus in July 2018 with a surplus of US $ 107.55 million. While cumulatively, the trade balance of Kalimantan Utara Province in the period of January - August 2018 was a surplus of US $ 693.79 million.
