Abstract

Farmer Terms of Trade (FTT) is the comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).

FTT is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. FTT also shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs. The higher the FTT, the relatively strong the farmer's level of ability / purchasing power.
The FTT of Kalimantan Utara Province in September 2021 was 106.71 or up 0.50 percent compared to the FTT in August 2021. The increase in FTT was caused by changes in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which was higher than the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib).
FTT per sub-sector of Kalimantan Utara Province September 2021, namely the Food Crops Farmers Term of Trades (NTPP) of 99.49; Horticultural Farmer's Term of Trades (NTPH) of 94.81; People's Plantation Plants Term of Trades (NTPR) is 136.30; The Farmer's Term of Trades (NTPT) is 105.21 and the Fisherman and Fish Cultivator Term of Trades (NTNP) is 105.19.
The Agricultural Household Business Term of Trades of Kalimantan Utara Province (NTUP) in September 2021 was 109.01, an increase of 0.61 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
In September 2021, there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Kalimantan Utara Province by 0.12 percent due to an increase in the index in the expenditure group, especially the Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel group by 0.23 percent.
