Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of star hotels and other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in April 2021 was 25.61 percent or decreased by 1.50 points compared to the ROR in March 2021 which was recorded at 27.11 percent.

The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of star hotels in Kalimantan Utara Province in April 2021 was 40.64 percent, an increase of 0.79 points compared to the ROR for March 2021 which was 39.85 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of other accommodation hotels in Kalimantan Utara Province in April 2021 was 20.36 percent, a decrease of 2.57 points compared to the ROR for March 2021 which was 22.93 percent.
The number of foreign tourist visits in April 2021 was recorded at 24,213 visits or decreased by 3,663 visits compared to the previous month which reached 27,876 visits.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Kalimantan Utara Province in the January - April 2021 period reached 105,334 visits, while during January - April 2020 it reached 140,434 visits.
Sea transport passengers departing have decreased from 17,294 to 13,265 people in April 2021. The number of goods loaded has decreased from 846,179 tons to 828,781 tons in April 2021.
The number of airplanes departing from the airport in Kalimantan Utara Province decreased from 391 to 359 flights in April 2021. The number of departing passengers increased from 19,648 to 23,668 people in April 2021.
