Abstract

In February 2021, the total export of commodities through ports in Kalimantan Utara Province reached US $ 95.23 million, an increase of 20.06 percent compared to January 2021, which reached US $ 79.32 million. The export value for the January-February 2021 period reached US $ 174.54 million or decreased by 5.47 percent compared to January-February in 2020.
The increase in exports in February 2021 compared to January 2021 was due to the increase in the value of the export value of the non-oil and gas industrial goods group by 166.33 percent.
The import value of Kalimantan Utara Province in February 2021 reached US $ 4.97 million or decreased compared to January 2021 imports. When compared to the January-February 2020 period, the import value of Kalimantan Utara Province for the January-February 2021 period increased by 36.88 percent. .
The import value of Kalimantan Utara Province in February 2021 was dominated by non-oil and gas commodities, mainly industrial products.
The trade balance of Kalimantan Utara Province in February 2021 was a surplus of US $ 90.25 million, an increase of 28.98 percent when compared to the trade balance in January 2021 which was a surplus of US $ 69.97 million.
