Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of star hotels and other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in September 2020 was 28.20 percent or an increase of 7.82 points compared to the ROR in August 2020 which was recorded at 20.38 percent.

The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of star hotels in Tarakan Municipality in September 2020 was 45.27 percent, an increase of 0.92 points compared to the ROR for August 2020 which was 44.35 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of other accommodation hotels in Kalimantan Utara Province in September 2020 was 22.83 percent, an increase of 10.54 points compared to the ROR for August 2020 which was 12.29 percent.
The number of foreign tourist visits in September 2020 was recorded at 34,924 visits or decreased 3,648 visits compared to the previous month which reached 38,572 visits.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Kalimantan Utara Province in the January - September 2020 period reached 310,931 visits, while during January - September 2019 it reached 379,061 visits.
Sea transportation passengers departing increased from 4,102 to 7,851 people in September 2020. The number of goods loaded increased from 668,751 tons to 1,010,947 tons in September 2020.
The number of aircraft departing from airports in Kalimantan Utara Province was recorded to have decreased from 409 to 319 flights in September 2020. The number of passengers departing decreased from 16,348 to 15,539 in September.

October 2020, The ROR For Star Hotels Is 45.51% And The Number Of Foreign Tourist Visits Is 28,375 Visits The Number Of Airplanes Departing In October 2020 Was 418 Flights In Kalimantan Utara Province.
