Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of star hotels and other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in August 2020 was 20.38 percent or an increase of 1.80 points compared to the ROR in July 2020 which was recorded at 18.58 percent.

The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of star hotels in Tarakan Municipality in August 2020 was 44.35 percent, an increase of 12.40 points compared to the ROR for July 2020 which was 31.95 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of other accommodation hotels in Kalimantan Utara Province in August 2020 was 12.29 percent, a decrease of 1.12 points compared to the ROR for July 2020 which was 13.40 percent.
The number of foreign tourist visits in August 2020 was recorded at 38,839 visits, an increase of 2,956 visits compared to the previous month which reached 35,883 visits.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Kalimantan Utara Province in the January - August 2020 period reached 276,274 visits, while during January - August 2019 it reached 378,899 visits.
Sea transport passengers departing in August 2020 experienced a decrease of 37.01 percent or decreased from 6,512 to 4,102 people. The number of goods loaded in August 2020 decreased by 32.71 percent or decreased from 993,868 to 668,751 tons in August 2020.
The number of aircraft departing from airports in Kalimantan Utara Province in August 2020 recorded 409 flights, an increase of 25.08 percent compared to July 2020 which recorded 327 flights. The number of passengers departing in August was 16,348 people, an increase of 3.38 percent compared to July 2020, which was recorded at 15,814 people.

September 2020, ROR For Star Hotels 45.27% And Number Of Visits There Were 34,924 Foreign Tourists Visiting, The Number Of Airplanes Departing September 2020 Was 319 Flights In Kalimantan Utara Province.
