Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate of Star Hotel and other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in April 2019 were 31.60 percent or decreased by 1.45 points compared to the TPK in March 2019 which was 33.05 percent.

The Room Occupancy Rate of star hotels in Tarakan Municipality in April 2019 was 43.76 percent, a decrease of 9.06 points compared to the TPK in March 2019 which was 52.82 percent.
Other accommodation hotels (TPK) rates for Kalimantan Utara Province in April 2019 were 28.61 percent, an increase of 0.39 points compared to the March 2019 TPK which was 28.22 percent.
The average length of time guests stay at Star Hotels and other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in April 2019 for 1.29 days. The average length of stay of foreign guests is 1.56 days and the average length of time a domestic guest stays is 1.29 days.
The number of foreign tourist visits in April 2019 was recorded at 46,421 visits or decreased by 4,118 visits compared to the previous month which reached 50,539 visits.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists visiting Kalimantan Utara in the period January – April 2018 reached 130,772 visits, while during January-April 2019 it reached 193,165 visits.
