Abstract

Other hotel / accommodation Hotel Occupancy Rate (TPK) in Kalimantan Utara Province in February 2019 reached 33.28 percent or decreased by 4.74 points compared to TPK in January 2019 which was recorded at 38.02 percent
The Hotel Occupancy Rate of Star Hotel (TPK) in Tarakan Municipality in February 2019 reached 40.02 percent, experiencing a decrease of 29.68 points compared to the TPK in January 2019 which was 69.70 percent. The average length of guests stays at other hotels / accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in February 2019 for 1.31 days. The average length of stay of foreign guests is 1.61 days and the average length of time a domestic guest stays is 1.31 days.
The number of foreign tourist visits in February 2019 was recorded at 1,724 visits, an increase of 67 visits compared to the previous month which reached 1,657 visits.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists visiting Kalimantan Utara in the period January 2018 – December 2018 reached 28,472 visits, while during January – February 2019 there were 3,381 visits.
