Regional Technical Coordination Meeting of Kalimantan Utara Province Welcoming Regsosek 2022

The initial data collection for the 2022 Socio-Economic Registration (Regsosek) is the President's instruction mandated to the Central Statistics Agency to encourage the reduction of poverty and extreme poverty in Indonesia. As an initial step to strengthen coordination and consolidation in the North Kalimantan Province, BPS North Kalimantan Province held a Regional Technical Coordination Meeting (Rakortekda) for the Province of North Kalimantan for the 2022 Regsosek Initial Data Collection on Monday (12/09) at the Luminor Hotel, Tanjung Selor. This activity was attended by at least 100 (one hundred) participants who came from representatives of OPD and agencies, representatives of higher education institutions, mass media colleagues, as well as all BPS employees of North Kalimantan Province. The activity began with remarks from Plt. Head of BPS North Kalimantan Province and subsequently opened by the Governor of North Kalimantan represented by Assistant I.

This Rakortekda activity presented three resource persons from Bappeda-R&D of North Kalimantan Province, BKKBN of North Kalimantan Province, and BPS of North Kalimantan Province, moderated by Statistician Young Expert BPS of North Kalimantan Province, Dodi Raharjo, S.Si. Acting as the first resource person, namely Syamsaimun, S.Pi., M.P. from Bappeda-R & D, North Kalimantan Province. In his presentation, Syamsaimun explained the important role of Regsosek in the success of social protection programs. Furthermore, as the second resource person, Nursyafitri Ramadani from BKKBN explained the 2022 Family Data Update (PK22) activities carried out by BKKBN to update Indonesian Family Data. As the third speaker, H. Trino Junaidi, SE. The Statistician of the BPS-Statistics of North Kalimantan Province in his presentation explained the general description of the Regsosek Preliminary Data Collection which will be carried out on October 15-15 November 2022. The activity closed with a discussion between the resource persons and participants which ran interactively.

The Pre-Regsosek Data Collection will start immediately on October 15 – November 15, 2022. BPS-Statistics Indonesia will continue to strive for coordination and consolidation of North Kalimantan Province for the implementation of the 2022 Regsosek Preliminary Data Collection which produces accurate and up-to-date data.
