A Visit to the Regional Office of Bank Indonesia, Kalimantan Utara Province in the Context of Submis

Bank Indonesia has issued 7 (seven) denominations of Paper Rupiah in 2022 emission as legal tender throughout the territory of the Republic of Indonesia in commemoration of the 77th anniversary of Indonesia's independence. As a form of introduction to the new Rupiah banknotes, the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia Kalimantan Province paid a visit to BPS Kalimantan Utara Province on Monday (22/08). During the visit, which was received by the acting Head of BPS for Kalimantan Utara Province, Slamet Romelan, SST., M.Sc. In this case, a booklet regarding the new Rupiah banknotes denomination was submitted along with an explanation. During this visit, a plaque was also delivered to BPS for Kalimantan Utara Province in order to strengthen collaboration between the Bank Indonesia Representative Office for Kalimantan Utara Province and BPS for North Kalimantan Province as a provider of macroeconomic data.

The 2022 edition of the Rupiah banknote has the theme "United in Rupiah, Sovereign in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia" which is illustrated with the Garuda Pancasila symbol in a complete circle, complemented by various archipelago ornaments that illustrate the unity of all cultural diversity and traditional heritage of the archipelago in a sovereign NKRI. Let's respect and be proud of Rupiah as a legal tender in Indonesia.
