Capture fisheries, in contrast to aquaculture, is the business of catching fish and other aquatic organisms in the wild (seas, rivers, lakes, and other bodies of water). The life of aquatic organisms in the wild and their factors (biotic and abiotic) are not intentionally controlled by humans.
