Abstract

The 2022 Kalimantan Utara Province People's Welfare Indicator is an annual publication that presents the level of development of people's welfare in Kalimantan Utara Province. Previously, this publication provided basic information covering six areas, namely population and family planning, health, education, employment, consumption patterns, and housing. However, starting in 2020, this publication presents one selected topic.
Over the past two years, the topic of choice has been health due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, the topic of this publication is employment which provides an overview of employment before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as during the economic recovery period. The data used comes from BPS surveys such as the National Employment Survey (Sakernas), the National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas), and several other surveys, as well as from other related agencies.
