Abstract

National development covers all aspects of life and is complex and faced with various challenges. To achieve this, integrated and measurable programs have been developed so that progress can be continuously monitored. In an effort to monitor and evaluate the policy program, accurate statistical data is needed. BPS-Statistics Indonesia collects data on various aspects of meeting the needs of life such as clothing, food, housing, education, and health periodically through the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas). This data is a source for calculating several indicators, one of which is household expenditure. The publication of Expenditure Statistics of Kalimantan Utara Province 2021 is the result of collecting data from the March 2021 Susenas, namely from the Consumption and Expenditure Questionnaire (VSEN2021.KP) which is presented in the form of nominal figures and percentages up to the Regency/Municipality level.
