Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.

North Kalimantan Province's NTP in April 2024 was 112.18 or an increase of 0.65 percent compared to the NTP in March 2024. The increase in NTP was caused by an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 0.80 percent or faster than the Price Index Paid by Farmers ( Ib) which experienced an increase of 0.15 percent.

NTP per subsector of North Kalimantan Province April 2024, namely the Food Crop Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPP) of 101.58; Horticulture Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPH) was 101.87; People's Plantation Plantation Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPR) was 172.27; Livestock Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) was 103.91; and the Exchange Rate for Fishermen and Fish Cultivators (NTNP) of 101.22.

The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for North Kalimantan Province in April 2024 was 115.51 or an increase of 0.80 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.

In April 2024 there will be an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in North Kalimantan by 0.20 percent with the highest increase occurring in the Supplies, Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance group of

0.64 percent.
