Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels and other accommodation in North Kalimantan Province in August 2023 was 35.38 percent or decreased by 3.20 points compared to the TPK in July 2023 which was recorded at 38.58 percent.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in North Kalimantan Province in August 2023 was 49.80 percent, a decrease of 0.69 points compared to the TPK in July 2023 which was 50.49 percent.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of non-star hotels/other accommodation in North Kalimantan Province in August 2023 was 30.73 percent, a decrease of 4.14 points compared to the TPK in July 2023 which was 34.86 percent.
  • The number of foreign tourist visits in August 2023 was recorded at 1,620 visits or a decrease of 48 visits compared to the previous month which reached 1,668 visits.
  • Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting North Kalimantan in the January-August 2023 period reached 14,515 visits.
