Abstract

  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels and other accommodations in North Kalimantan Province in June 2023 was 39.88 percent or an increase of 1.88 points compared to the TPK in May 2023 which was recorded at 37.99 percent.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in North Kalimantan Province in June 2023 was 55.16 percent, an increase of 3.87 points compared to the TPK in May 2023 which was 51.29 percent.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of non-star hotels/other accommodations in North Kalimantan Province in June 2023 was 35.09 percent, an increase of 1.25 points compared to the TPK in May 2023 which was 33.84 percent.
  • The number of foreign tourist visits in June 2023 was recorded at 1,899 visits, a decrease of 14 visits compared to the previous month which reached 1,913 visits.
  • Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists visiting North Kalimantan in the January-June 2023 period reached 11,227 visits.
  • Sea transport passengers departing increased from 29,714 people to 33,765 people in June 2023. The amount of goods loaded decreased from 1,328,625 tons to 1,139,738 tons in June 2023.
  • The number of airplanes departing from airports in North Kalimantan was recorded to have decreased from 583 to 544 flights in June 2023. The number of departing passengers increased from 29,001 to 30,225 people in June 2023.
