Abstract

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels and other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in July 2022 was 33.76 percent or an increase of 0.37 points compared to TPK in June 2022 which was recorded at 33.39 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Kalimantan Utara Province in July 2022 was 46.16 percent, a decrease of 3.31 points compared to the TPK in June 2022 which was 49.47 percent.
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for non-star hotels/other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in July 2022 was 29.59 percent, an increase of 1.86 points compared to June 2022 TPK which was 27.73 percent.
The number of foreign tourist visits in July 2022 was recorded at 2,498 visits, an increase of 1,281 visits compared to the previous month which reached 1,217 visits.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists visiting Kalimantan Utara in the January – July 2022 period reached 30,411 visits.
Sea transportation passengers departing increased from 26,273 people to 27,082 people in July 2022. The number of goods loaded decreased from 1,080,535 tons to 928,583 tons in July 2022.
The number of aircraft departing from the airport in Kalimantan Utara was recorded to have increased from 466 to 479 flights in July 2022. The number of departing passengers increased from 24,473 to 25,199 people in July 2022.
