Abstract

    Of the 90 Municipalities that the national CPI monitored, in March 2021, 58 Municipalities experienced inflation and 32 other Municipalities experienced deflation. The highest inflation was in Jayapura Municipality at 1.07 percent and the lowest was in Banjarmasin Municipality at 0.01 percent. Meanwhile, the highest deflation was in Bau-Bau Municipality at -0.99 percent and the lowest was in Palopo Municipality at -0.01 percent.
  • Kalimantan Utara Province (Combined of Tarakan and Tanjung Selor Municipality) in February 2021 experienced deflation of -0.02 percent. Meanwhile, Tarakan Municipality experienced deflation of -0.19 percent and Tanjung Selor experienced inflation of 0.64 percent.
  • Deflation in Kalimantan Utara Province (Combined of Tarakan and Tanjung Selor Municipality) was influenced by a decrease in the price index for the other maintenance services group by -0.68 percent, the transportation group by -0.65 percent, and the equipment, equipment and household routine maintenance group. by -0.01 percent. Meanwhile, inflation in North Kalimantan (Combined of Tarakan and Tanjung Selor Municipality) was influenced by an increase in the food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.34 percent, the education group by 0.02 percent, the information, communication and financial services group by 0.00. percent, the health group by 0.00 percent, the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.00 percent, the clothing and footwear group by 0.00 percent, the recreation, sports and culture group by 0.00 percent , the food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 0.00 percent.
