Abstract

    Of the 90 Municipalities that have been monitored by the national CPI, in February 2021, 56 Municipalities experienced inflation and 34 other Municipalities experienced deflation. The highest inflation was in Mamuju Municipality at 1.12 percent and the lowest inflation was in Sumenep Municipality at 0.02 percent. Meanwhile, the highest deflation was in Gunung Sitoli Municipality at -1.55 percent and the lowest was in Malang Municipality at -0.01 percent.
  • Kalimantan Utara Province (Combined Tarakan and Tanjung Selor Municipality) in February 2021 experienced deflation of -0.03 percent. Meanwhile, Tarakan Municipality experienced deflation of -0.01 percent and Tanjung Selor experienced deflation of -0.13 percent.
  • Deflation in Kalimantan Utara Province (Combined Tarakan and Tanjung Selor Municipality ) was influenced by a decrease in the price index in the food, beverage and tobacco group by -0.70 percent, personal care and other services by -0.42 percent and the clothing and footwear group. feet by -0.01 percent.
