Abstract

    Out of 90 national CPI monitoring municipalities, in June 2020 there were 76 municipalities experiencing inflation and 14 other municipalities experiencing deflation. The highest inflation was in Kendari Municipality by 1.33 percent and the lowest inflation was in Makassar Municipality by 0.01 percent. While the highest deflation was in Ternate Municipality by -0.34 percent and the lowest deflation was in Padangsidimpuan Municipality by -0.02 percent.
  • Kalimantan Utara Province (Combined Tarakan and Tanjung Selor Municipality) in June 2020 experienced inflation of 0.88 percent. Meanwhile Tarakan Municipality experienced inflation of 0.99 percent and Tanjung Selor Municipality experienced inflation of 0.45 percent.
  • Inflation in Kalimantan Utara Province (Combined Tarakan and Tanjung Selor Municipality) was influenced by an increase in the index in the transportation group by 4.19 percent, the food, beverage and tobacco group by 1.17 percent, the food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 0.54 percent household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance by 0.52 percent, health by 0.29 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels by 0.03 percent, recreation, sports and culture by 0, 02 percent, the information, communication and financial services group by 0,00 percent, the education group by 0,00 percent. Whereas deflation in Kalimantan Utara (Combined Tarakan and Tanjung Selor Municipality) was affected by a decrease in the index in the personal care and other services group by -0.29 percent and the clothing and footwear group by -0.02 percent.
