Abstract

Village Potential Data Collection (Podes) is carried out three (3) times in ten (10) years. Based on the 2018 Podes results, there were 482 village administrative areas consisting of 447 villages and 35 sub-districts. Podes also recorded 53 districts and 5 districts / cities.
  • BPS calculates the Village Development Index (IPD) which shows the level of development of the village in the category of lagging, developing, and independent. The higher the IPD, the more independent the village is. The number of independent villages was 10 villages (2.24 percent), 164 villages developed (36.69 percent), and 273 villages were left behind (61.07 percent).
  • There are 24 (4.98 percent) villages that have very strong signals, 168 (34.85 percent) villages that have strong signals, 231 (47.93 percent) villages that have weak signals, and 59 ( 12.24 percent) villages that have no signal.
  • Average IPD for the Implementation of Village Government Dimensions 67.18, Transportation Dimensions 59.63, Public Service Dimensions 51.27, Basic Service Dimensions 41.33, and Dimensions of Infrastructure Conditions 30.30.
