Economic Growth of Kalimantan Utara Quarter III 2017

The economy of Kalimantan Utara in Quarter III-2017 measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) at current prices reached Rp 19.65 trillion and at constant 2010 prices reached Rp 13.72 trillion. The economic performance of Kalimantan Utara in Quarter III-2017 to Quarter III-2016 grew by 6.62 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Provision of Accommodation and Drinking Storage by 14.43 percent. While in terms of expenditure is influenced by Government Consumption which grew by 20.50 percent.

The economy of Kalimantan Utara The third quarter of 2017 grew by 1.94 percent (q-to-q), accelerating compared to the preceding quarter which grew by 1.17 percent. On the production side, the highest growth in q-to-q was achieved by the Government Administration, Defense and Social Security mandatory business field at 6.24 percent. In terms of expenditure is influenced by components of Government Consumption which experienced a correction of negative 14.67 percent.

Cumulatively, the economic growth of Kalimantan Utara in Quarter I to Quarter III-2017 compared to the same period in 2016 grew by 6.44 percent (c-to-c).
