Abstract

Calculation of Happiness Index of Kalimantan Utara in 2017 is the first based on the result of Happiness Measurement Survey (SPTK) of 73.33 on a scale of 0-100.
The Happiness Index of 2017 is a composite index composed by three dimensions, Life Satisfaction, Affect, and Living Meaning (Eudaimonia). The contribution of each dimension to the Happiness Index of Kalimantan Utara is Life Satisfaction 34.80 percent, Affect 31.18 percent, and Meaning of Life (Eudaimonia) 34.02 percent.
The index values of each of the Happiness Index dimensions are as follows: namely: (1) Life Satisfaction Dimension Index of 71.94; (2) The Affect Dimension Index of 73.42; And (3) The Dimension of Meaning of Life Index (Eudaimonia) is 74.67. The entire dimension index is measured on a scale of 0-100.
