Abstract

A.PADI

Preliminary Figure (ASEM) of rice production in 2014 is estimated at 115,302 tons of dry unhusked rice (GKG). Compared to production in 2013 (ATAP 2013), there was a decrease of 9422 tons of GKG (-7.55 percent). The decline in rice production was due to a decrease in the area of rice harvest of 3,929 hectares (-10.94 percent).

The largest estimate of decline in rice production in 2014 occurs in Bulungan District.

B. MAIZE

Preliminary Figures (ASEM) of maize production in 2014 is estimated to be 1,235 tons of dry kiln. Compared to production in 2013 (ATAP 2013), there was an increase of 262 tons (26.93 percent). Increased production is estimated to occur due to an increase in harvested area of 136 hectares (30.56 percent).

The largest increase of corn production in 2014 occurred in Bulungan District.

C. SOYBEANS

Preliminary Figure (ASEM) of soybean production in 2014 is estimated at 97 tons of dry beans. Compared to production in 2013 (ATAP 2013), there was an increase of 13 tons (15.48 percent). The increase in production is estimated to occur due to the increase of harvested area of 13 hectares (15.48 percent).

Estimated increase in soybean production in 2014 is relatively large occurred in Bulungan District.

In 2019, The Rice Harvest Area In Kalimantan Utara Province Is Estimated At 10.29 Thousand Hectares With A Production Of 33.35 Thousand Tons Of MPD. If Converted To Rice, Rice Production In Kalimantan Utara Province In 2019 Will Reach Around 19.67 Thousand Tons.

In 2021, The Rice Harvested Area In Kalimantan Utara Province Is Estimated At 11,057.04 Hectares With A Production Of 38,164.61 Tons Of GKG. If Converted Into Rice, Rice Production In 2021 Is Estimated To Reach 22,508.87 Tons.
